I've enjoyed Lee Child's books for years with Jack Reacher as the central character so its off to the Cinema next week for the movie. I generally like Tom Cruise's movies so we shall see...

Reacher is 6'5" and 220-250lbs. Er sorry Tom but you don't quite measure up.

I believe Lee Child has defended it by saying it's how he projects himself. We shall see.

I'm not a great Tom Cruise fan but apparently he does all his own stunt work and he is undoubtedly pretty good at it. Is he also involved in providing money and co-producing this movie?

^ Both possible good reasons why he is playing the main role.

Yes. You should get regular emails from Cineworld advising. If you have opted out of Cineworld emails, the. You won't find out. We've been to about 6-7 Pre release showings this year.

....Yep, as I thought: Tom Cruise is a co-producer and will have put money into the film project and had some control. He is also a big box office attraction of course.
