Iirc he did a KO4 conversion without bothering to remap his ecu accordingly. I think he basically destroyed his engine.

I twigged from the second post in "her" welcome thread because of the use of ,,,,

Then I mentioned that there was a former forum member from Banchory (were Scott is from) with a very similar car, who was looking for 18s to replace crappy 16's etc. Too many coincidences. Also "she" said that she was moving to Peterculter and questioned the spelling of the place "she" was moving too. Sorry but if you've just bought a gaff in another part of the UK, I'm sure you'd know the spelling etc.

If it wasn't so funny it would be sad....!

I can remember ripping into Sammy quite a bit. He just wouldn't listen to the solid advice being given to him.

There's the rub. Why join the forum in the first place?

This forum, amongst many other things, offers a spectrum of advice for people who aren't trained mechanics.

There is a type of male (it's always a man) who find it difficult to listen to advice. I think they feel emasculated.
