It was some bird claiming to have bought a GTI that came with 16" wheels, asking where she could source some 18" wheels with winter tyres for £600.

I don't know why Scott doesn't just come back. Although he called me a tosser in that thread, and told me to f*ck off, it didn't really offend me. He just seems to totally overreact to what most people round here would consider banter. Threads quite often go off track, it's the nature of a forum, but he considered it rude when people made comments that weren't on topic.
