I drive in and around B'ham and TBH you just have to have your wits about you.

I do it most days and the amount of  accidents/near accidents I see are shocking!

i've lived in Yorkshire, B'ham, Stoke, London, as well as regularly driving in Manchester, Leicester and Nottingham and i've honestly never seen anything like it.

Thing is... the most of them are just stooooooopid avoidable accidents. If thats the average quality of driving over there then I think we are quiet lucky over here.
