RCD-510
« on: December 24, 2012, 12:01:22 pm »
I have and RCD510 which i use the sd slot for my music.

In the the past i just used my crappy acer laptop and everything was fine.
But i have just purchased the new iMac and now putting the music on has messed everything up.

Basically when on my sd card i organise all the music under Artist so for instant i click on Drake and the songs are duplicated on there but only one of them will play the other one says that it cant be read.

So i have now plugged in the sd card to my computer to see if i did copy them twice and there is only showing one set of songs  :stupid: checked the file type and its mp3.

So why do i have this other set of song on a format that cant be read???

This happens to me too when I add music to the card. If I plug the card into a Windows pc there are a couple of folders and some odd files with the same name as the music files that the Mac has added to the card. I just delete all these and then it plays fine in the car
