Brake fluid

I was just wondering what the best brake fluid is for our cars. Putting in new brakes this weekend and was wondering what i should use ... I have always used ap racing dot 5 1 ... Any recomendations ?

I think 5.1 is not the right brake fluid.

4.1 is the right one.

I dont think you can use 5.1 on the mk5 thats why i was asking ? Dont really know much about brake fluid to be honest.
