Steel grey gti
« on: December 26, 2012, 04:43:45 pm »
Hi all,

So after saying in my 'hello' thread that I'll be keeping the gti standard, you horrible people on here have convinced me to splash out   :signLOL:

Started off with the rns510

Then recently treated myself to the full r32 rear setup with non res milltek exhaust

So so pleased with it, I love the look of the gti but have always thought that the rear bumper lets it down, looks like any other golf on the road. Also vet pleased I went with the non res miltek, was very close to going with the res due to concerns around volume levels and not wanting to sound like a boy racer! I can honestly say the non res is perfect! Exactly how the gti should have sounded from factory.

Anyway future plans are to improve handling. Most likely walk kit but possibly go for bilstein b12, but again concerned over ride comfort.

Might look at the brakes in the future as I don't have tonnes of confidence in them, even with my new braided lines.

That's all for now. Thanks

Looks really nice mate I think that's what I'll be going for in the new year if I've still got the car!

Lovely looking motor and the best colour

The R32 conversion looks great and easily on of the best looking mods to do.
Golf R gone.

Thanks for the comments.
To the guy asking how much it cost...
I think the bumper was around 400 from the stealers
200 to spray
460 for the exhaust

Not exact figures but as a ball park..

Also just bought some gti mats and a rev g Dv valve from the stealers after reading so much about the dv valve on here

Hi guys another update.

I know these aren't to everyone's taste, but I really like them. Might go down better on the likes of edition 38 than here, but here goes...
They're reps by the way, silly money for real ones.

Guess everyone's been taught by their mothers that if they havnt got anything nice to say then don't say anything at all  :signLOL:

After honest opinions don't either way! Might taken them off as no one seems to like them!
