« on: January 08, 2013, 03:52:12 pm »
hio
i have a RNS510 version h and i cant get the 7 digit postcode to work.  what is going wrong?
i swear it was working as 7 digits before now it only accepts the first 3 letters instead of letting me type 7 digits?

Have you changed firmware or map versions? It should "automatically" disappear.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

no i havnt changed anything.
the only thing i can think of is that a had the DSG reset via vagcom unless that caused the issue.

anyhows i have a version H so the firmware is new.  anyway of getting the postcode feature to work back again?

Is the first part of the postcode in the format of a single letter and 2 numbers or 2 letters and a single number eg B21 or DE1?

If so you will need to type the first bit then add a space for it to allow you to put the next part in. Mine messed me around a few weeks ago doing this until I realised.
