Brake pad duration
« on: December 27, 2012, 11:35:00 pm »
How long do these normally last? Had my stage 1 eddy 17 months now and there still going strong during this time I've covered 22k. Is there an easy way to check what's left without waiting for the light to ping up on dash?

How long is a piece of string? Tough question, if you've not been pressing hard on the stop pedal they might last a while, whereas 22k around the Nurburgring is unlikely.

The only way to check would be to have a look at the pads. Get your local specialist to have a look, or sometimes dealers have offers on free health checks and things
