Heat Shield

I'm (finally) putting on the heat shield for my Evoms intake.  There are 2 black....well im gonna call them "chess pieces" lol that need to be removed before the heat shield can be fitted.  How do I get them off, pull them , screw them ????? they wont feckin shift!!!!!!!!!!

Any help appreciated thanks........ :ashamed:

Big, deep socket normally works. Can't remember the size though.  :ashamed:

Think its 24mm and 12 point hexagonal socket, normal hexagonal socket (six sides) wont fit.

Think its 24mm and 12 point hexagonal socket, normal hexagonal socket (six sides) wont fit.

For anyone interested a Draper part no 83945 - 24mm 1/2" Hi Torq bit fits  :happy2: job now done.

Yep theres two as i found out when unscrewing and heard one of them hit something when falling luckily it hit the ground and didn't lodge somewhere.
