Pretty good day.
highlight was haivng the car weighed.
Was 1400kg no driver, and 5/8 tank of fuel - so probably 25kg or so of fuel. Quite pleased with that seeing its in fuel road trim and its 4WD now.

Car wasnt running great. dont think its much/any more than 400hp at the moment. Also felt that it was misfiring bit of the runs in the lower gears.

cant bleive the speed of that ED30, and im sure the DSG helps too! My gear changes are wank.

I can't remember Dan, do you have a WOT box fitted to your car?

I dont, no.

I have the Sachs SMF clutchpack and had trouble shifting at high rpm and fast, The WOT box helps a lot on this, see if another member near by has one and try it out, it really helps the shifting, do believe me  :happy2:

Thanks to all of you who took part over the weekend - Saturday or Sunday - and making it such an entertaining (and exhausting!  ) event for us from the MLR and all the guys from the RAF. Apart from a couple of hiccups over the whole weekend, I'm pleased to say there was no damage done and both days ran very smoothly. It's amazing to see the cars develop and the times drop to almost into the 3 sec bracket now - how much quicker is it possible to go?!!?

Most importantly, HUGE thanks to George and his team of volunteers for ALL the work they do to make 30-130 (or should that be 30-230 now?!  ) possible before, during and after the events - all of which is on a voluntary basis, and of course the Station Commander and management for inviting us back each year - we truly appreciate it and look forward to returning in 2014.

If anyone would like to pass on their thanks to George and/or the Station Commander, please drop me a quick email and I'm make sure it's passed on.

Thanks again

Few of my mates cars are there today but I'm still in bed.

I think the plan is to have our own 30-130 event in a few weeks :/

Times won't be comparable nless you run uphill though.

anyone know where they posted the weights up from the weighing?
I presume they are someone as they wrote it all down.
