cleanyourcar.co.uk moan

Just wondering why they feel the need to package car cleaning products in 4 billion pieces of foam? They are not fragile items.... seems very wasteful.

Anyone else noticed this?

Absolutely agree.
Maybe they had a problem with items being damaged in the past and have gone for ultra safe and ultra environmentally unfriendly option as a result!

The only fragile bits that I can see are the sprayers.

Sounds like you need to make a youtube video on how to unpack your new product, Rich.

It amazes me that there are videos online which show people how to open packaging!

I know what you mean, but ultimately I've always been more than happy with their service. I'm environmentally conscious but I'd prefer items were over-packaged than have stuff arrive damaged.

I've always kept the foam pieces - I'm sure they'll come in useful one day!

That's interesting coming from a GTI owner...

....I find that keeping some packaging can be very useful. So some cardboard goes into the recycling container and some is packed flat and kept for when needed.

No point getting one's knickers in a twist about such things, whether over-packaged, environmentally-friendly, or not. Think positive and re-use what you can.

Then bin it and stop moaning  :rolleye:

Or you could ceremoniously burn it if it makes you feel better. How much of this polystuff you are complaining about is there anyway? - It's sounding like you can't get through the door for the stuff.
