Decent armchairs?
« on: December 28, 2012, 09:05:12 pm »
I'm looking for a decent real leather armchair to replace the broken swivel recliner that I have.

Any recommendations?

Has to be real leather and comfy

I really want a la z boy cool with the fridge but I don't have enough room to fit it  :sad1:

Not too keen on another swivel chair as the one I have started squeaking after a few months (annoying when my son keeps playing on it)

I was gutted as a child when he never replied to my letter, I asked if he would fix it for me to be a cameraman for the day!

Now I'm glad he didn't reply

Stressless are fantastic but cost a bit .... they are the most comfortable chairs i have ever sat in .  Get one with a footstool too .

I got one online today after visiting all the usual furniture shops, I did find a few that I liked but between 4 and 18 weeks for delivery :jumping:

Not too keen on the swivel recliners anymore after my last one started squeaking after a few months, the base of the seat was made out of a metal ring with welded on supports. All the welds had snapped and they didn't want to know about it because it was over a year old.

I'm going to see if I can re weld the base and give it to my son for his bedroom at home

Poang with a leather cover from ikea, well comfy especially with the foot stool!
