Canbus help :)
« on: December 30, 2012, 07:21:13 am »
I have the correct Canbus in my old car running the RCD510 but now I've bought a new car, 2005 GTI. The old gateway is coded for the old car which has different equipment inside. Will this work as a 'plug and play' or will I have to re code it!

You will need to edit the coding for the 2005 car unless both cars have identical hardware specs.
Without traction power is nothing!

Haha! Yeah man! Is a mk5, was just hoping (as much as I'm sure I couldn't) that it would work! Haha
