Glad you enjoyed it Mark. I guess Mr Pimpin did too. Did you do 2 days?

I saw Derek Bell in the pits, Tony Jardine walking out the drivers club and several of the rally drivers at the top. I was also nearly run over by Mr Jesse James.

I was going to post my photo's but yours put mine to shame big fella!  :happy2:

As Marky has said we had a fantastic day! We'd heard the DTM Audi had stacked it as my mate was there the day before so I was well chuffed to see the pics! Im sure you'd get good money for those they are awesome!  :happy2:

The Eurofighter display was one of the biggest goosebump moments I have ever had! The attack to your senses is something else!!!!

Got some vids that I will try and post tomorrow!  :happy2:

If you haven't been before, then why not!!!!

P.S. This was me and Markys PIMP wagon for the weekend!  :happy2:

Yeah, Nath loved it too but he had been before so knew what to expect! We only did Saturday but I desperately wanted to stay for the Sunday. Im not surprised you were nearly run over by Mr James, the man was an animal in that thing, he nearly rolled it when we were there!
So where is Mr Quality Dave as I know he has some very cool stories to add! :happy2:

Arrived on Thursday, and the weekend has been a haze!  Some stories cannot be told on here!  Lots of phone numbers got and to be followed up.  The Totty was amazing! and they all wanted to see my chopper!

We didn't quite have an invite to the drivers ball, however.........................

Will Young did a good set, and i seem to remember patting Little Tom Daly (the Olympic Diver) on the head and being really really patronising to him.

I got given so many drinks (all free anyway), and spoke to so many people who wanted to know about my travels.  The ball was amazing, I spoke with Jenson and told him if he does not win the Championship I would come looking for him!

We went onto the houise balcony and drank some very nice Verve, whilst watching the F1 cars travel past, then the Qatar airways tent was another story, as is the Air Hostesses..............................

One tired and jaded SBhere now!  Not much sleep, due to lots of night time Shenanagins.....................

Excellent pics, Hedge! Really capture the atmosphere and sense of speed.

Methinks I should go to this event - I've never been. A friend of mine who isn't especially into cars went yesterday and phoned to say he had a great time and will go again.

Robin, You really should go, it is a cracking day out.  The Friday was a lot quiter than the weekend, and you could get a lot closer to the cars.
