Detailed My Tornado Red ED30!
« on: December 30, 2012, 04:53:08 pm »
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, but had some serious swirls etc that needed removing, to get that depth of the paintwork back.

I machined the car with a DAS6 and Menzema FG 400, which is a new one step polish from Menzema, well known for cutting well on hard VW paint.

I then waxed the car with Victorias Concours Wax, an amazing wax BTW.

Also sealed the wheels with some Planet Polish Wheel Seal & Shine.

Also I have cleaned the interior, and will be treating the leather part of the seats with some Gliptone tomorrow. Engine bay was also done, car looks much better for it!

Not the best pics as it was dark when I finished and only parked on the drive today, will get better ones when the suns out!

Yeah wheels look sweet in black, love a red/black theme!

Engine bay was dressed up with some Auto Finesse Revive, once degreased with AS G101. Both top products and give great results!

Looks lovely steve! Such deep reflections..

I used Hexlogic Pads, Orange ones mate.

To refine I usually use final finish with white hex logics.
