I have a 2004 GTI, in the past few weeks ive noticed the fuel and temp gauge perspex/glass cover to be going dull / cloudy. Its getting worse as the weeks go by and its driving me mad. There not misting up as they never clear regardless of temperature. They appear cloudy and are getting more and more difficult to see through! I usually only dust them with a MF cloth but when i got the car i polished them with megs plastiX but that was 3 months ago.
Ive tried cleaning them with a damp and dry MF, polishing them with a cotton bud using megs plastiX but they are no different. Its as if its on the inside.
Has anyone come across this before? its doing my head in!
