Hi Everyone!
« on: January 03, 2013, 05:01:24 pm »
New to the forum today guys! Wanted to introduce myself.

Been driving GTI Edition 30 for 18 months now... very pleased with the old girl!

I was looking for advice on upgrading my brakes, when I found the forum! Have been intending to join one for some time so here it is job done!

Cheers guys!

Link very useful MC71    gives me something to consider. Whichever way dont think it will come cheap for a full setup.

Your standard brakes are ok if your car is not mapped so a new set of discs and pads will make a big difference as will a decent set of tyres.

Have a look into an R32 setup or S3 setup, both good although the R32 Calipers weigh as much as the rest of the car!

NQS BBK is around £600-£800 depending on the condition of the Calipers you get and if they need a refurb.

I have quite a bit to consider it seems.

Saving at the minute so wont be making any hasty decisions
