I'll find out in the morning and post the results :happy2:
I'll get the latest revision for a golf 'R' aswell. hopefully there'll be a K03 at the dealers and I'll find out the number for that aswell

Wasn't rev d on the mk4 1.8T??

Unsure about the k03 cars, but I do know that F and G are for the ed30's, the same as the O.P's car.

They all fit don't they, the difference being diaphragm or piston design.

Yep, The 1.8T's are totally different, vacuum operated

Take it back to Pullman VW in S.land and speak to Scottish Jim, ask him all about his Subaru and make friends, mention us lot at PDT and he will gladly swap it over.

Yep, I already know all about his Subaru,  have you not heard the story about his celica.........
He knows my reg number off by heart when I go in, think thats a bad sign when a vw part guy knows that :signLOL:

Rev D's appeared at the same time as the 1.4 TSI's as seen in Sy's Homomobile.

Even my TSI vRS has a Rev G.

D was from one one of the TSI engines - I thought it was the mk6. GTI. definitely not off a 1.8t  :happy2:

The revision D valves hit the seen before the mk6 GTi. I'm pretty sure.

I always was led to believe the Rev D (piston) type was released for the K03 cars due to where they are located and the piston being better than the earlier diaphragm type. It was then also seen as an upgrade (but not necessarily needed) for the K04 cars.

However, everyday is a school day and await clarification  :signLOL:

Wherever its from they still fail, like all of them one way or another.
My VCDS shows I'm not matching requested boost atm with a 6 month old Rev D... have ordered a G, so will test - whatever works I guess (I look at it as a wear and tear item now).
It's just a shame the TFSI location is more of a PITA than the TSI.

Also vw told me the rev D was for edition 30

No it isn't. F and G are for the Edition 30's.

D isn't, wasn't , and never has been advised to use by VW.

D was recommended to me by VW as the correct piston type replacement for the original diaphragm DV. I checked it and double checked it with them. The parts guy at Colbournes VW showed me the screen on the VW parts computer.

Well.............
The revision 'D' D/V is no longer available to order, and has been superceeded by the revision 'G'
the revision 'G' is listed for the BYD, AXX, BWA, BPY I think it said on the screen. So looks like everyone will be buying a revision 'G' from now on :happy2:

The part does come with a 1 year warranty, and to get a replacement under warranty, it has to be brought in, and tested on my car in the workshop, and since my car is notorious at the dealership for being modified, I cant have a replacement :fighting:

Awesome have the rev D for sale - probably worth confirming they have them instock as they may keep you waiting for 6 months.

There must be a reason why they don't sell 'D' anymore
