« on: January 04, 2013, 03:15:26 pm »

I hate it. Have moved to Tire'n'Trim Jelly from Gliptone but have an ED30. On something like the standard MK5, I'd go for a sealant based one eg gtechniq.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

If you have it, worth while using.

I applied mine with an old microfibre, then rubbed and buffed up  :signLOL:

Kept the plastic looking very clean and healthy. My old pug306 plastics uses to grey very quickly, using this they looked minty fresh.

Mask off and use a heat gun instead if the plastics are faded. If you just want some gloss, it's ok, but there are better products.

It's not bad definitely worth giving a chance ! It doesn't last all that long and if any drips of water run down it before its dried properly can leave streaks once dry it will bead water.

It gives a great shine but also leaves the bumper wet and picks up dirt.  You'll find that next time you wash your car it'll come off on the sponge/mitt.

I use Auto Finesse Revive.  Goes on well with a satin finish which is more like OEM.
