So the people saying "your transmissions only rated to 260lb/ft" were really talking rubbish!  I had 2 PD's, both with around 300lb/ft and they were faultless...great engines!

Sounds like you had lots of fun in the MK4, whats the plan for the MK5?

Whats the difference with a US spec grill to the U.K one?

Nice car mate  264bhp from an intake and remap sounds a bit generous though, or is the AMD remap (or rollers )producing the highest figures?

Keep up the good work though!

How did the mk4 feel compared to when you got the mk5 (unmodified)?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

i dnt kno really its hard to tell they both deliver power differently. the mk4 put you in the seat more and pulled well in any gear but the mk5 is quicker all round. and i think the mk5 handle's better and the mk4 was on coilovers.

 :surprised:

Well - you certainly chose well Dean!
I've been tempted to go down the same route although I'll never buy a house at this rate  :ashamed:

That last pic makes it look very special indeed. Lovely
