I used the grey bottles from this comany:

I got kit SKU 00130.
You mix the colour yourself, which is really easy to do, apply it, let it dry. You then apply the laquer/topcoat to which you add a matte element. You can keep applying both parts of the process until you are happy with it. Its super easy to do.
Didn't take long and it totally rejuvenated my drivers side seat bolster. Its looks like brand new (well nearly) after 9 months.
I must add i'm quite careful when I get in and out of the car not to slide accross the bolsters as thats what makes them wear.
Oh, and on the gti I was selling, I applied the matte laquer to the steering wheel, worked well.
