Porsche caliper's upgrade on Edition 30

Hi, I'm currently looking to upgrade the standard front brakes and have been offered some Brembo Porsche caliper's.

Part No.996.352.421 & 996.352.422

Will they fit?

Those 996 caliper are not the ones from the NQSBKK...

So the correct ones have 351 in the part number?
 Which year and model do the correct caliper's come from out of interest?

Errr... Boxster 2.7 i think.

IIRC the NQS BBK Calipers are from the Porsche Boxster 2.5 & 2.7.

The part numbers you need are 986 351 421 & 422

Just a brief explanation of part numbers:

First three are the model number 986=Boxster, 996=911, 955=Cayenne

351 = Front brakes

421 Left Caliper (odd numbers) & 422 Right Caliper (Even numbers)

Dont buy anything with a 352 in the part number they are rear calipers and the pistons are too small for a Mk5

I run the 996 calipers that you have been offered, run with a 330mm Mercedes disc and they are immense. Really good stopping power!

What sort of size spacers do you need with the 996 calipers and merc set up ?

Is there not a rubbing issue if you use such a thick spacer at the front?

I have -45mm Eibach springs - and drive like a bit of a lunatic when out on my own in the country...and If I catch a bump mid corner when really loaded up - it will catch slightly, but nothing to worry about...ot that you can see the result of on either tyre or arch liner or wing.

Yeah i run 15mm spacers on my 18" Pescara's. Lowered on KW V1's and only rubs when your proper on it.
