Tonight I had 3 RR Evoques just sitting in the middle lane.
1 of them sat in the 3rd lane of 4 before it goes to 3 and nothing in the 2 inner lanes! URRRRRGG I need some bond toys on my car!!! Missiles would be best in place of full beam flash!

Ahh yes... the evoque wankers... they love sitting in the middle lane!!

Coming back from Southampton earlier, on the M3 there was a guy sat in the middle lane in a 12 reg Focus on his phone doing 60mph with the inside lane completely clear. Normally i don't undertake people BUT i couldn't resist it.

He was less than happy!

Personal mission to alert middle lane drivers to their errors. Couple of bursts of high beam then outside lane and cut back in (safety) across the middle lane to the inside to highlight correct motoring. I wouldn't recommend  undertaking.

....That's exactly what I sometimes do (providing, like you, the conditions allow doing so safely and with plenty of room). But it's amazing what a small percentage of drivers take any notice and they continue plodding on in the middle lane. I expect that some of them even say to their passengers: "Look at that fool, changing from lane to lane!"

Approaching them fast from behind can get them moving lane but it's not something I like to do.

You can lead a horse (in this case a donkey) to water but you can't make him drink.

Had a chat with a traffic plod friend of mine over the weekend who advised me that they are looking to make poor lane discipline on the multi-lane carriageways an endorsable offence under reforms to the Road Traffic Act being considered at the moment.  :fighting:

Some new cars have got beep alerts every time you cross a white line? - How does that annoying beep get actioned? Every time you change lane?  :stupid:

My drive home tonight was interesting, saw a bright light driving along the motorway (first thought aliens).  Getting closer turns out to be a Citroen C1 with what must have been a 32" sat nav attached to the windscreen in DAYLIGHT MODE :stupid:. As i passed i could see the middle age driver leaning forward what looked like squinting because it was so bloody bright, it almost blinded me when i changed to the outside lane to overtake.
