So.... today my mirror fell off

Well today my mirror came off (thankfully it didn't fly off when I was doing 70!).

So I'm guessing Its come off as the heating element has possibly melted whatever was holding it on before!

Can anyone recommend what I can use to stick it back on? Something that won't melt!

My Last GTI did the same. ''No More Nails'' double sided sticky pads did the job.

Mine came off in my hand on the weekend too. Used superglue on mine, seems nice and solid.

That's brilliant thanks guys. Just didn't want it coming off again, not because of the cost or the fact its a pain, I don't want 7 years bad luck!

Both of mine have almost done this.  Flapped around for a few weeks before I got a chance to fix.  I used some 1 min drying epoxy.  No issues since and the heater still works fine.
