just stumbled across these on the bay.......  Item number: 200279381104. anybody know if they will work with no other mods??  (aside the coding..)  I really like the highline pod!

If you mean the highline MFD between the rev counter and the speedo they can be retrofitted if your car did not leave the factory with it but I have heard that is quite a complicated job and can take quite a while.  :surprised:

Some one will be along to correct me i'm sure, but i remember reading its easier to travel back in time than do this mod.  :smiley:

hmm, if its too much arse ache i prob won't bother...would be good if they are plug and play though! i assume the control module could possibly be different.

I've done loads on Octy's, it's a 15 minute job really.  Plug and Play aside from the coding.

For DiY - You'll need the 4 digit SKC for your car and for the new insert as well as VCDS.

VW Dealer - Should be a max of an hours labour.

You'll not be able to modifiy the mileage on the used pod if has been used before. (Not with the common readily available tools anyway)

excuse my lack of knowledge but whats VCDs? is it possible just to change the display to the highline one utilising my exsiting pod then?
