Absolutely gutted! It makes me feel very angry indeed seeing such mindless vandalism like this.

Whoever did it, kid or 'adult', needs their face banging against a car (preferably their own) until they bleed. No parental or school discipline amongst the plebs nowadays!

Best to get it repaired ASAP and then forget about it.

I really hope there is such a thing as karma and one day these people will get what they deserve!!  :fighting:

My sister's car has just had the rear passengers side boot kicked in outside her house last night!!! :fighting: :fighting:

The thing is she lives 2 mins from my mum's where mine was done and I've just found out that recently over 10 cars have been vandalised in the same few roads!!!!!

Last night a neighbour heard the banging and now we know who it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The police have been to see him and basically the feedback has been that he's a druggie, was off his head and there's nothing the police can do as he wasn't responsible for his actions at the time!!!

Are they f**king kidding!

Anyway. Now we know, we will felicitate our feelings to him.................................

....I don't understand how that can be so. Whether off your head on drugs or on alcohol it's the same and it's never a get-out-of-jail card. Do drunk drivers get let off? - No. Do drivers high on drugs get let off? - No.

If you are under the influence of any substance it doesn't give you a carte blanche to commit any crime or act of vandalism.

Have you been told this directly by the Police, John?

That's complete bollocks. Who cares what he's on, at the end of the day he chose to take whatever, so he should get convicted of crimes he commits whilst on whatever, if he can't control himself or know what he's doing that's his fault

That's not what should happen at all! Tell her to get back onto them!

I feel for you and hope it isn't tooooo bad. I had my old R32 keyed from back to front by some lowlife whilst I was at uni. I was fuming but got it fixed and never let it alter what I did. These so called humans get their just deserves eventually.

Sorry to read this John - was reading the new VW Driver mag today and noticed yours in the Golf R owners bit. I thought how sweet it was looking, and now I've just read this  :sad1: .

At least the culprit has been identified now - it should be a self righting situation as he's a druggie...can't have too long left.

Gutted for you though, as I know it will hit you financially, and as for your poor mum feeling she's responsible in some way... that's terrible.
