At the risk of stirring up trouble...
...I don't agree with bolstering up votes with 4/5/6 different email addresses. I can see why Robin has spread the word on the forum (the more people are aware of the competition then the more possible votes) but are people just voting for Sky to help Robin out or do they truly like her design. I personally have voted, Sky's design (and website portfolio) appeal to me but designers should be given a true critique that matches their skill/achievement. For one to recieve an inflated score they may take it to the head/ego and think too much of their work or may see it as a false score and that they don't really deserve to win.
All this aside, I do like the design in question, and have voted. 109 114 122 votes so far, she seems to be blasting the competition away (except 1).
Good luck RR/Sky.
....Absolutely no trouble as far as I'm concerned, mate
I earlier added this info to my original post:
4th February - The panel of 4 judges select the winner.
14th February - The People's Vote closes and the People's Vote winner is announced 18th February. You are voting for the People's Vote winner.
So I'm happy to say that the award organisers are, in my opinion, acting most fairly and that any popularity I may have (questionable!) is not such a big factor.
Indeed you are completely free to vote for the designer you think best and not necessarily for my daughter Sky.
I personally have nothing to gain from any success my daughter may have but as her father I will naturally do all I can to support and encourage her efforts. I have not asked anyone to vote more than once via different email addresses - It's up to them but does express their eagerness to demonstrate their support and I am very grateful indeed for all support for Sky however big or small - It's ALL appreciated and by Sky as much as by this proud dad.
