Top cat please keep me posted on any further meets/events of the old lotus's as I'm sure we would try and make a few.

Mk1's have such character I prefer them to the mk2's but at more than twice the price there only a dream lol

So its been a while since ive updated this loads has been going on the shell has been stripped completely old panels removed and the whole thing shot blast

loads of new panels have arrived and the rest are on order and should be with us in around 5 months!

engine has been bored to new pistons head is rebuilt but not shimmed up (valve clearances) just waiting on some con rods and a water pump to finish it off!

We bought a roll over jig and modified it so we can move the whole frame around

Then started the paint stripping



then fitting it on the jig and making the jig mobile

Then it was time to remove the under seal making the blasting process a little kinder to the floor pan

before and after shots




then off to be blasted


we mounted it on the jig for the blaster


In the spray booth after its been blasted and now in etch primer

Now its all cleaned back all the places that need new panels can be seen easy and il be honest theres quite a few lol









All replacement panels are available all sections of rust/corrosion is being removed any previous repairs are also being replaced the end result we be amazing ! i cant wait to see this come back together
