BKD/BNM Heads
« on: January 13, 2013, 08:43:17 pm »
Does anyone know if the BNM head will fit and work with a BKD engine, and also if it suffers the same leaky head issue as the BKD's?

Thanks
Fish

Deffo different injectors, BMN has the troublesome Siemens PPD's

I know of someone who has fitted PD140 injectors into a PD170 though so get round the issue of them injectors so.. could be possible

Thanks for the replies. I think I might drop DevonMikeyBoy an email, as he's played with different combinations.

Can't you fit the newer revision BKD head which is the C version I think? Its ment to be stronger than the A and B version.

At the time there was no way of the getting the Siemens PPD ECU and Injectors of producing the amount of boost he required for his hybrid turbo so to get round this he fitte the Bosch set up then he could get the boost he needed, The Siemens ECU has got like a boost limiter on it that cant be removed

Since then some developments have been made and the Siemens ECU can now be tricked into making more boost than it thinks it is

i sold my PD170 when i was running Stage2+ Shark Mapping which went very well

I was convinced nobody would run a hybrid turbo.. Jamie has proven me wrong, hes a nice lad and he's not scared to show up companies who are lieing!

Sometimes i wish i had kept the PD170 now

I've been slowly working my way through yours and Kilners build threads on TDisport.
