How Do I Remove the Rear Light Cluster?
« on: January 15, 2013, 02:14:43 pm »
Hi Guys,

I've searched around but struggling to find an answer...

I was wondering if and how I can replace the rear cluster this is attached to the boot lid?!

Just to make this clear, I have got this far...

Thanks,
Tom

You need to remove the boot panel on the inside of the boot, and then you will see the bolts you need to undo.

Open boot lid and look where the remaining light is from the inside. There is a small cover over it which pops off. Inside there are 2 nuts . 1 is tricky to get to. Take off the 2 nuts and the light should just pull away from the boot lid.

Just don't drop those nuts!  :scared:

I found if you get someone to hold the boot open so that the lights are parallel to the floor, if you happen to drop a nut it should still be retrievable.

Yes you have to be careful. One of the bolts is tricky to get to and can be easily dropped.
