No... elliptical most probably, I would love C hook (think alcon rotors) but dont know anywhere that does that. Do you do machining Damian?

Nick have you got any experience with the mk6 TSI motor yet?
The next car will be a TSI most likely and they seem to be getting good numbers especially with Revo stg 2.

Also have you seen worthwhile power from WMI on a k03 gti Tfsi?

Not one I am looking to tune yet, they melt too easy lol.  I turned around 6-7 1.4 tsi custom maps down over the last 18months.  I am glad I did as I know 3 of them have had major engine failures.    I will stick with 1.8t and 2.0t for now and bypass the 1.4tsi.

Mapped right and with the wastegate setup correct then I would say the ko3 with WMi would be happy 300bhp 340lbft.  All the tfsi WMi work has been with the ko4.

Actually it's only about £250 plus buying the fluid. Bang for buck it's great value  :happy2:

@R-Tech Nick - only the 1.4 TSI is the ticking time bomb, the 2.0 TSI is plenty strong. No fuelling issues like the TFSI either. Get on it fella

Yeah I actually meant the 2.0 TSI.

I wouldn't have a 1.4 after so many failures

Cheap as chips to run dude.   Meth £20 for 25ltrs and demineralised water £15 25ltrs.   Mix it 60% meth and 40% water set it up to inject only on full boost/power and the fluids could last 6+months.

It can also be mapped in via the ecu and using the AIT sensors as a trigger to add 4-6deg more timing on full load which can works our to 25lbft and 20+Bhp at points.    Even on a stock / stage 1 car it's well worth the investment IMO.

I managed to run a 1.8t ko3s to 340lbft 264bhp with 70/30 mix WMi and some trick mapping.    It made one of the other top 1.8t tuners jaw drop when we ran it on his dyno.

So you can just bolt it on to any car and use it to aid charge cooling and timing corrections which keep the engine more effichent, or to get its full potential map it in and see nice power gains.

Another advantage with WMI is that it keeps the inlet side clean, it stops carbon build up on the back of the inlet valves.. Which for £250 investment and £50-100 a year to run is one of the best mods ever for a tfsi / GDi engine.   It's just strange how not many mk5 tfsi owners are not running it.  Lots of 1.8t owners are taking advantage of WMi setups.

Nick, me thinks u have sold it to me lol! Would it work in unison with the tiv+map I will be seeing u about in the next couple of mths? Would u be able to source it for me and fit, or is it best I purchase myself? I'm about to have a Helix Stage 1 clutch fitted, will this handle the extra power, bearing in mind you have already sourced me 331lbs of torque??
