Will this revo sps fit ok???
« on: January 16, 2013, 05:57:26 pm »
Im finally getting edition  30 revo remapped next week, i have seen few revo sps switches coming up for sale, found one it is brand new and unused but isn't the latest "version" of the Revo SPS.
this is a version from around two years ago. This features all the same functionality as the new version of the SPS - except it may not be compatible with brand new cars released in the past couple of years with updated ECUs. Will this fit ok???

That sps switch should work with your car but you won't be able to adjust the BTF parameters with it.

I was told by JKM is a big gamble for the older switches to work on the new software they are using now

That switch is a sps not a sps plus one that uses software on your laptop.

It was £249.95 when it first came out in 2006. I'm pretty sure you can get a new one now for around £100.

AFAIK that one will work... and you can adjust the BTF settings

That one has no provision for changing BTF. A sps plus switch has more option settings than the one shown in the ebay pic.

Why hasnt it?

The custom labelled settings A, B and C are not present on that switch.

So does that mean you cannot plug it into your car and computer and change them via the SPS software?
