All up on wrc site. Another good result for VW. I can see Ogier and VW walking it already. Goes to show Hirvonen isn't a No.1 driver. I'm surprised by Sordo though. Thought he'd be a lot better this year than he's been.
Chris.
flatout:
personally i dont think hirvonen will adapt to team loeb sorry i meant citroen..even though this is his 2nd season..seems that there is a divide between the french drivers whove drove there and other nationalities...just look at loeb and ogier, numerous wins....hirvonen and sordo havent had a proper win yet actually beating loeb hands down..just look at years gone by..think the only other driver to do well was carlos sainz...mcrae,pons,duval etc all struggled..
il put a tenner on hirvonen been back in a ford next year cos malcolm should get rid of novicrash oops sorry novikov...i do think ostberg is very good though..
bowie:
Totally agree on all counts. I think the only one to really take it to loeb was gronholm. Wrc needs some quick drivers badly. But the pay to drive culture of the last few years has set that right back.
Chris.
flatout:
So over halway into the season and vw walking it really now,no one can live with them, such a shame on rally germany what happened to both ogier and latvala, but thats rallying for ya.
So glad to see an up and coming star in elfyn evans(son of legend gwyndaf),really proving himself, kubica seems to be getting all the glory but evans was only about 10 seconds behind him in germany.hopefully he will be ready for wrc in 2015,needs to be in wrc2 for another season yet.
Come on malcolm what the f**k are you doing with that useless prat novikov,1.5 kilometers into first stage and crashes AGAIN..neuville and hirvonen or sordo next year in the ford camp maybe.
Im so looking forward to november for the trip to wales to see these cars in action as until uve been you just cant comprehend the speed and comitment of these guys..
I read somewhere aswell that vw actually had an evolution of the current polo R for after the summer break but because they are already wupping there opponents decided not to use it yet and stick with the old car and save money on the cost of the revisions.
so how fast would the polo be after the revisions then.a certain mr wilson must be scratching his head
