Work sent us home at 3pm. Main roads still passable in Bedfordshire but side roads getting bit dodgy.

Light dusting in Thurrock that's set but its not even 5mm deep. Might be a different story in the morning.

Today..................

^ Fortunately not much snow except on the surrounding hills where some roads are closed today.

The big tree shelters my wildlife pond  :happy2:

^ 0 degrees C air temperature and 2.5 degrees C pond water temperature < Always monitored at 12 noon at same depth.

The weather has been sunny but very cold with blue skies for the last couple of days here................

Car is tucked up in her batcave garage and won't be driven until all the snow and ice has gone.

5.5 Inches of snow in South Birmingham.

Proof:

Had a pretty uneventful journey home from Nuneaton. A couple of people smashed at the side of the M42 though.

I only had a problem on the last mile to the house, so I whipped these out:

  :happy2:

Not easy to get my hands in the arches to get them on though but work really well.

Barely see in Snowdonia today, almost a white out.

Wipers were freezing up, but traction was great with 4 Goodyear Ultragrips.
