.
All the snow has gone from here in coastal West Dorset and the sun is out amongst a soft cloudy blue sky. It's 0 degrees C.

My German weather App called WeatherPro predicts sleet tomorrow but no snow so far.

3 inch overnight (topping up the 2 inch we had Sat)  in my part of Lancashire, which is great.
My son is gutted that they didn't shut his school, I am also, wanted another day of sledging
It's still snowing now so it's going to be fun when I pick him up at 3pm mass snowball fight and 3 hours of sledging - yippee :jumpmove: then off to warm up in the pub

The snow is still coming down in Southampton although it has slowed down a bit since this morning. Can't wait for it to all disappear.

Suitable footwear from the b/f there Mandy??  :signLOL:

Lol, I was hoping he'd fall on his ass , I did offer to lend him a pair of my Uggs...

....Is it just me who finds Uggs very sexy?

... So you find the thought of Romany wearing Uggs rather sexy? :scared:  :signLOL:

Who cares what they look like when they're that comfortable, they held up quite well in the snow. Just walked back from VW after dropping my car off and didn't fall over once (a few sketchy moments). My latest pair are the ones from the 'I do' collection, lovely.

Sorel boots are where it's at for men. Had mine a few years now and they're bloody amazing. Supposed to be warm to -40°C.

^^^^ Those really do look 'the dog's' for men.

Having got some handmade German Meindl walking boots last October I would probably look at the Meindl range first but we don't get too much snow down here on the coast (thank goodness!) and so there's no point. My Meindl's are category recommended up to the tree line - I'm not interested in climbing any higher!

Apparently it has been all over the news, so i hope they do get a fine. Takes 2 minutes to clear a car of snow, no excuse for driving like that (on a motorway especially) at all.

I actually passed a woman in a 1-Series this morning who had carved a porthole in her window - nothing more. Peripheral vision must be non-existent.

I must say, i really enjoy driving in this sort of weather, but the behaviour of other drivers is rather worrying.

Snow's melting here. Gonna go out in a bit and scrape the last of the hard packed stuff off the driveway, as the missus needs to go out tomorrow morning.
