Noise after installing springs?
« on: January 20, 2013, 07:29:37 pm »
Hello there.

After having my eibach pro springs fitted my car started to creak loudly back and front over speed bumps.

So I've ordered some new bushes for the rear arb.

Which bushes on the front tend to cause the noise,

Is  it the control arm bushes?

Cheers

I'd check the top mounts are seated correctly and also that they're nipped up tight (under the scuttle panel)
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I had new springs and 4 polybushes installed 2 wks ago, I too still have a creak, but was advised against engine mounts if I hated extra noises and vibrations, etc! But creaking still there! :-S
