V6 TBD- Mk5 R32 T
« on: January 20, 2013, 01:28:57 am »
Right, a very long story short................

My name is Matt and in Jan 2011 i purchased a 2007 3 dr R32 fully loaded with extras in DBP. I instantly loved the car but felt it lacked something.......
After joining this forum a couple of months ago to buy a pair of TT wishbones ive been hanging around since as theres some great cars and peeps on here. I started a thread on the R32oc last year but have been asked by a few members on here to start one.........................................

The research began as did the saving.....
I never took many pics when i bought the car as was too busy driving it. Heres a few after id owned it a few months and id allready fitted KWs, VF Engineering engine and GB mounts and quickshift, Evoms, Milltek non res, and GIAC map. Id also installed Kenwood DNX920BT, JL Audio C7s upfront, JL 600 x 1, JL 400 x 2, JL W7 13.5" sub in cutom box + lots of dynamat. Brakes were low so EBC upgrade allround also

Anyhows, everything was put into place and the build was ready to begin.  :jumping:
The car was sorn in Feb 2012 and so it began. Were a little behind so i'll let you catch up with pics............

Thankyou for looking, hope there was something of interest and sorry ive had to break down a project allready 2 years in, including planning. To bring you up to date now, sort of, as best i can

Hopefully brakes are sorted allthough ive learnt not to say to much until 100% complete. Spec and design by Dave B ( a huge Thanks for his help ). I really want too say more but were have too wait  :sad1:

Car is at home at present prepping for paint, final chassis mods, new ICE install being complete and generally ticking jobs off a shrinking list

White paint on the car was a temporary mesure for protection but final paint samples are being done this weekend with the aim being to have the engine bay painted by the end of Feb, complete paintjob early March

Once bay is painted the engine block, after full rebuild will be installed. Brakes will be fitted along with new hubs etc and car will have final chassis geometry complete allthough this was done when we had full Super bush kit installed and H&R ARBs etc etc

I think thats all i can take for now but will add more when i have 5

Matt  :driver:

The project is more advanced than i can show you in 1 post but i will try to catch up for you....................

Cheers mate, I think he was quite nervous as I was watching him, haha. Always a little worrying I guess. ASAP really, everything is in place and they have been waiting too build this engine for months. I'm just trying to be patient and do things correct
