What size tyre?
« on: January 20, 2013, 06:14:11 pm »
I'm thinking of getting some 17" monzas to use as winters, yes I know bit late now!  My car currently has 18's on now. What is the right tyre size to use as winters on 17's and what speed rating?

Cheers

Andy

Me too, 225/40 x 18's
Been great the last week or so. Looks like we're in for a bad time the next few days as well (North East)

Cheers for the replies. What about speed ratings?  Sandancer you from shields by any chance?  I'm in north east as well so hoping it does get too bad here!

I just put 4 Goodyear Eagle 2's on mine. They're 225-45-17-94-Y-XL.
