Hi Gang

The battery has given up the gosht .  Who supplies VARTA items as I want an exact replacement so the box/leads/Clamps all fit as standard.

I've had a look on line and the useual culprits don't seem to stock them.

If you specifically want varta then get this uprated one. I'm using this myself and fits perfectly.

Had one of those fitted last week to my ED30 £60.21 fitted (after my original battery gave up the shost), managed to get a decent deal via a mate in the trade.

Doesn't have to be Varta to fit right. I changed mine to a Bosch and it fits exactly the same. Euro Car Parts are always good if you use the current discount code.

Try your local VW dealer. They have them for  cheaper than you might think....they will try and flog you an expensive type but ask if they have anything cheaper.

I got a VW battery for my R32 for £75, which I thought was good VFM.
