My guilty 4x4 pleasure is the AMG G Wagen, more facelifts than Joan Rivers but keeps on going

Yeah, I love the G-Wagen too. Think the most up-to-date one looks pretty rank though.

I love G Wagens, but I'd want an early one in some sh*t horrible colour like hearing aid beige. None of that AMG/Brabus tat.

Sideways yo!

^^^^
I used to know a girl in Chelsea who had a G-Wagen - Daughter of a private banking family (I won't drop the name). Very cool lady - She could roll a joint with one hand while driving! I drove it a couple of times - Massive! It wasn't bling'd up like that though.

Just seen your post, Mike - Hers was a sandy beige colour. This was in the early 80's (I think!).

....That's similar to what I heard too, albeit a few years ago.

It might be that the word got twisted in the re-telling and it started off as that Kahn made cars look as if they belonged to drug dealers.

Drive past the showroom quite often, some of there conversions are not great quality as you can still make out the original car colour before there make over.

The rumours you heard, were very well heard when they used to be at the old site in cheapside, in town, but have continued now.

I notice Twisted now sell all the aftermarket kit for their conversions, so you could buy a cheap Defender and mod it.
