Blimey, cheers for the replies. I refer the original/EOM look so I guess I'd go for the RNS510; would I have to get a bluetooth adapter to go with it? On the cheaper side, has anyone bought one of these off ebay?

Retail is around £1200 including the fitting kit for the Mk5 which is plug and play. I can probably do it for around £1000 or so. I would need to double check.

That look's the dog's,I would be very interested in this as i'm not happy with the overall sound quality of the RNS510.

Another kenwood DNX520VBT HERE - fitted at crimbo & well impressed so far, garmin nav has been faultless as has the parrot Bluetooth and it sounds a thousand times better than stock.
Best bit £475 brand spanking new from vw on eBay  :happy2:

Got mine just before Xmas - vw in Cambridge were selling 3 (stock clearance) - took some haggling but got it for £475 brand new. Was looking around for about a month before this came up though.
Can get some bargains on eBay  :happy2:

Yeah, doesn't include the fitting kit, so my price of £1000 seems to be the cheapest.

And yeah, that is the price for the whole kit including the dash fitting kit which is all plug and play.
