turbo whistleing at me

hi guys, i have started to notice the turbo whistleing at me, i have a gt tdi 140, where can i get it checked out, or even better when can i get a new one fom, or can i buy a upgrade?

Mine has been doing it for a while (past 2 yrs).
While it may indicate wear I havent found it requires immediate attention.
Mine makes a siren/ whistle sound when the turbo is spooling. Fitting a miltek decat and exhaust system made it even more noticeable.
If you do want replacement or hybrid, there are a few companies such as midland turbos, turbo technics etc thst will be able to help you out.

I get a "ho" sound with a gear change and its quite whistly but i think thats quite normal. Certainly notice other golfs and most dervs whistle as they drive past if im walking anyway
