CD autochanger

Been thinking about getting one but need to know more info about it.

Does anyone know the basic specs of the cd autochanger? How many CDs will it store? mp3 compatible?
Will it work with the RNS-510 when I come to upgrade?

Armrest one ? if so it holds 6 cds but doesn't play mp3s , i would reckon it will work with most oem units , i plan to keep mine when i upgrade to the MFD2

I've seen a glovebox build for the 6CD autochanger, i'll try and dig it out, you'll lose the space for your manual but that's no biggie

That's where the Changer goes in the current Passat so you may be able to get the frame from VW and bolt it in.

Just bought an ipod nano lol! Though that was more for gym/social reasons. I tried it in the ipod connector but it plays the damn songs on alphabetical order!

The 6-cd changer works fine with the RNS-510.

since i had the RNS i have not had a CD in the car
