Does everyone just use Standard or BBK's on the GTI, seems very little discussion inbetween. :sad1:

Rang the dealers today, the guy who i normally deal with is away for a few days so i ended up speaking to a right numpty...

Anyway, he said front discs are £63 each!! front pads were about £40ish, rear discs were aout £50ish and rear pads were about £30ish.
That to me sounds very expensive compared to the Mintex ones on Ebay?

It's a bit of bugger that you need all the rotors and pads doing at once... otherwise you could test out some mintex pads upfront and give yourself a good idea what to expect - I'd say you wouldn't notice the difference from the standard pad.

I've bit the bullet and grabbed some mtec discs and mintex red box pads... about £65 cheaper than stock and something new to try out

I'm going to keep a close eye on them; be interesting if nothing else!

Do you know if they sell the front discs on their own as I might grab a set when I fit my NQSBBK.

They've sold over 30,000 products with 100% feedback :surprised: Got to be doing something right:

Hehe, guinea pig. Will do though, for reference I'm coming from standard disc and tarox pads.
