Very wise mate, easy to make a mess "making do".
I bought a set of Bojo's for the same job:

Plastic palette knife set from HobbyCraft
less than £3 nice and soft and very flexible to get into every crevis without making a mark on the dash

I can't recommend Bojo's enough. I no longer need to find multiple credit and loyalty cards to remove a piece of trim :)

Bojo for me too, I've only got a set of 5 and seems to be enough for everything I've done.

I use to be a professional stereo / hands free fitter - I've still got my professional 20 piece bojo kit. They rock!! With it being the professional kit it came with a lifetime guarantee - break them & they are replace for free for life

Bought 2 bojo tools from Hong Kong (genuine
) Excellent bit of kit Don't get carried away buying 2 dozen different shaped tools which will not get used for years.
Only cost a couple of quid each and still used regularly

x2 for the Sykes Pickavant kit of trim removers. 5 or 6 nifty tools, in blue, for about £20. Really strong and don't mark your interior at all. I've managed to use all the different shapes/sizes of trim tool in the kit.
