I ordered the ECS the got a nuespeed one and fitted it with my vw bolt luckily one of the guys at the r/r pointed it out and i altered them to their error.

Oh yeah, I remember you saying that you were looking for a soot chucker. You'll love the economy and torque, but unless you go with a DSG the car is only in the power band for 0.000000001 of a second. I know, I've had 2 manual diesels and 2 DSG diesels

I know what you mean but a 170 TDI DSG is a rare find and I would be worried about having problems with the DSG if I had it mapped. I have had 2 remapped diesel golf's (both manual) and I do like them but like you say the power is all in one shove. Will definately miss my Eddy if it does go
