buying a gti
« on: January 29, 2013, 12:12:18 am »
Not been on here for a while, i used to have a mk5 gti replica and fancied a change and a bit of power so went for an audi s3 8l for a year, but now i want something a little more refined and i do miss the mk5. So ive been saving up and im back in the game!
I have about £7500 to spend and it has to be a 3 door, manual or dsg im not bothered, leather seats because i cant stand the interlagos seats.
So ive found a few that fit the description, but ive noticed a few ed30's at that price too.
They appeal to me alot more because of the bigger turbo and tuning capabilities but what else is there? i know about the exterior and interior but what about any gadgets or other mods like suspension or lsd by any chance?
I do like the leather seats in the gti but im unsure about the half leather ones in the ed30. If i was to get an ed30 are these seats sought after? could i sell them for as much as a set of full leathers? cheers
