Can someone do me a quick favour!?
« on: January 29, 2013, 12:55:29 am »
I have an 06 GTI and when I press the brake pedal in when stationary the ESP light flashes for like 15 seconds. Can someone go into there GTI start it up and press the bake in and see if it does the same. If that's not normal does anyone have any idea why it's doing that?
Cheers

Thanks for the replies, does anyone know if or how i can check if its the ABS rings or sensor myself? Sounds like it could be an expensive fix if its the ABS pump

Start win a scan or your not going to make progress - check for VCDS owner in your area.

As above, start with getting your car scanned.

Yeah just VW are wanting £90 just to diagnose it and there's no VAG-COM users anywhere near me or VAG specialists. Guess I'll have to fork out the 90 bats

If the code comes back as G201 then look for an foc repair off the dealer - see previous posts on here!
