I'm a detailer by hobby and i must be honest, i don't get the point of all these fancy shampoos. As far as i'm concerned, the shampoo is there to lubricate the sponge/washmitt and nothing more, shampoo is really only capable of removing surface dirt, bugs, tar and other contaminants need specific chemicals to remove them imo. I use Simoniz Ultimate Wash & Wax and it's very foamy and slippery and cheap from costco too.

Maybe my car never get dirty enough to put my shampoo to the test tho. Try and wash it every week/two weeks which is usually around 400 miles/week

Simonez stuff doesn't stay soapy very long, at the end of the bucket, there are no suds left, that's why it's cheaper then the more expense stuff.

I live local to Autobrite, and use their Banana shampoo after a snow foam. Smell's lovely and does a good job too.

Another one for dodo juice born to be mild ! ,i ran out and tried zymol auto wash (the one thats blue in colour and smells of banana's) £6.99 from halfords ,is ph neutral and gives off an insane amount of foam and lubrication ! really surprised by how good it !!

Tip for everyone: blast your pressure washer into your wash bucket before you start. It reallllllly suds things up  :happy2:
